I’m a Māori artist and tauira whakairo based in Aotearoa, learning and developing my carving through the guidance of my pouako and the mātauranga passed down through our tūpuna.

My mahi is centred around whakairo, creating taonga and commissioned pieces that carry meaning, whakapapa and kōrero. I’m still on my carving journey, and I believe there is value in documenting the process — the challenges, mistakes, lessons and growth along the way.

Through Māori Ora, I hope to share my mahi, connect with others and help open the gate to mātauranga, creativity and ngā toi Māori for our whānau and future generations.
