If you're suffering from pain, headaches, numbness, stiffness, arthritis, or any other pain in your tinana and don't know what to do or who to speak to, I'm a great place to start. Whether it's acute or chronic pain, pregnancy woes or any long-term condition that is preventing you from doing what you want to do, we can discuss what's going on and come up with a plan to get you where you need.

I place value in working in a holistic and collaborative way, my approach not only focuses on the source of the pain but also the contributing factors for discomfort. By using a variety of osteopathic techniques, such as myofascial release, adjustments, and soft tissue massage, I am able to help move and mobilise joints and restore motion. We also look at contributing lifestyle factors such as sleeping positions, desk ergonomics, operating techniques; and adjusting them to reduce daily strain, as well as exercises and stretches that suit your lifestyle so that you're able to have control in-between our appointments.

In Osteopathy, I work closely with you to figure out not only your health goals but also the hurdles you face on your hauora journey. I'll help explain and teach you how to manage the condition, and together figure out what is working for you, and what isn't; allowing us to change and adjust your hauora path as needed. After working in Osteopathy for over 10 years, I have an extensive knowledge of local and wider region wraparound services that we can also utilise to support your goals. This will give you the much needed support and guidance that is often overlooked when experiencing physical pain.

Having navigated two contrasting postpartum journeys (moving from isolated survival mode to grounded self-leadership) I understand firsthand the need for non-clinical, mental, emotional and physical support.

As a mother, Yoga Instructor (specialising in Perinatal movement), Educator, and founder of Empowered Authenticity Ltd (based in Whangārei), I aim to bridge the gap between primary clinical care and the daily realities of motherhood. I hold space for women to go from feeling confused, overwhelmed, and unprepared to feeling confident, at peace, and aligned with who they are becoming in their motherhood journey, through movement, mindfulness, and Matrescence coaching. I am passionate about supporting women through one of the most profound identity shifts of their lives: Matrescence.

If you’re living with ongoing tension, pain, stress, or stiffness that’s starting to affect how you move or feel day to day, you might need some help. Many people come to me feeling worn down, tight through their bodies, or struggling to fully relax. My aim is to help your body settle, ease discomfort, and support you back toward feeling more comfortable and balanced.

I’m a qualified massage therapist with over 16 years’ experience, and it’s been a privilege to work with people across Whangārei from all ages and walks of life. I regularly support professional sportspeople, weekend warriors, tradies, gardeners, office workers, and those simply needing time to reset. My approach is both practical and intuitive - I listen carefully to what you’re experiencing and use a range of hands-on techniques including deep tissue, trigger point therapy, myofascial release, and sports, remedial, or relaxation massage. Each treatment is tailored to your needs, with the goal of reducing pain, calming the nervous system, improving mobility, and supporting overall wellbeing.

What I value most in my mahi is seeing real change - when tension eases, breathing slows, and people leave feeling lighter and more at ease in their bodies. I believe these outcomes come from experience, quality touch, and the care and presence I bring to each session.

In your appointment, you can expect a personalised treatment delivered with attention, rhythm, and respect. If you’re seeking relief from pain, support with recovery, or simply time to relax and restore, I’d be happy to work alongside you. Book a session when you’re ready.

    OsteopathShockwave Therapy Specialist

If pain, stiffness, or recurring injuries are keeping you from doing the things you love - whether that’s sport, work, or just daily life - I get it. I’ve been there myself. I know how frustrating it is to feel like your body is holding you back, and how easy it is to lose confidence in what you can do. That’s why I became an osteopath: to help people like you move with freedom again and trust in your body’s strength with the right support.

My approach blends hands-on treatment with active rehabilitation, giving you the best of both worlds. We’ll start by calming down the pain, then build strength and resilience with tailored rehab strategies, and where it’s needed, shockwave therapy to support recovery. You’ll also leave with practical advice you can use outside the treatment room and between sessions to support your progress. My background in sports therapy means I can guide you to build confidence in your body through rehabilitation exercises and support, either in clinic or at our local gym. But this isn’t just for those recovering from an injury on the field - whether you want to run, garden, lift your kids, or simply get through the workday without that nagging ache, I’ll help you find ways to move that feel achievable and sustainable.

When you come in, you’ll find a treatment style that’s relaxed, professional, and focused on what matters most to you. For me, it’s about more than quick fixes - it’s about giving you the right support that empowers you to feel strong and capable long-term. I’ll take the time to explain what’s going on, work alongside you to set goals, and give you the tools to stay on top of your health and hauora in a way that fits into your lifestyle. If you’re ready to reduce pain, rebuild confidence, and get moving again, I’d love to help make it a reality.

If you’ve been living with chronic pain, discomfort, or tension that just doesn’t seem to shift, I understand how exhausting that can be. Whether it’s headaches that keep coming back, an old injury that never quite healed, or that deep stiffness that makes daily life harder than it needs to be — you don’t have to just “put up with it.” I’ve spent decades supporting people of all ages, from newborn babies to athletes and older adults, and I know how frustrating it is when pain holds you back from doing the things you love.

I believe in the body’s natural ability to heal itself when given the right support, and my role is to help clear the roadblocks that get in the way of that healing. With training in both classical and structural osteopathy, as well as cranial and visceral techniques, I tailor each session to suit your unique needs. By looking beyond symptoms to the underlying causes, I aim to reduce pain, restore balance, and support long-term change. For many of my clients, that means moving more freely, feeling more comfortable day to day, and having the energy and confidence to get back to the things that matter most.

When you come to see me, you can expect a calm and supportive approach that works with your body, not against it. I take the time to listen and adjust treatment to what feels right for you — whether that involves gentle hands-on techniques, subtle adjustments, or focused work on specific areas to ease strain and restore function. My aim is to help restore balance between mind, body, and overall wellbeing so you can move with more ease, feel more comfortable, and get back to enjoying life without being weighed down by constant pain.

If you’re feeling weighed down by tension, stress, or a sense of disconnection from your own tinana, I hear you. So many of us carry hara quietly in our bodies — tight shoulders from emotional load, headaches that arrive without warning, or aches that linger long after the moment has passed. Whether you’re seeking relief, grounding, or simply a place to breathe, my role is to help you feel seen, supported, and reconnected in a way that honours every part of you.

As a Clinical Massage Therapist, I draw on years of experience working with a range of bodies, lifestyles, and injuries. My approach blends evidence-informed techniques such as deep tissue, myofascial release, neuromuscular work, and trigger point therapy. Together, we can reduce pain, restore mobility, and help your body move with more ease so you can get back to the things that light you up.

As a Mirimiri practitioner, my mahi is guided by aroha, kaitiakitanga, and wairua. Mirimiri acknowledges that tension and pain are often woven through the physical, emotional, and spiritual layers of our lives. My intention is to create a sacred and supportive space where you feel nurtured, restored, and reconnected — kia tau te mauri, kia ora te tinana, kia mārama te hinengaro. This work is deeply personal and draws on the wisdom of my tīpuna alongside my clinical training, supporting you to rebalance, soften, and come home to yourself.

If your tinana or wairua is asking for awhi, I’d love to work alongside you. Whether you choose Massage or Mirimiri (booked separately), each session is tailored with care, presence, and intention. Kōrero mai — let’s begin your journey back to comfort, clarity, and ease.
